Today was a somewhat whimsical day, with me working a mere five hours while with a rather loopy manager and other friends at work. I really like the place - when the chemistry works, it works. There's many folks leaving soon, but so it goes.

I'll be leaving for New York on Thursday for a few days away with the lovely girlfriend. I've never been to the east coast, much less New York. Maybe I'll buy us a horseback ride through the park! Then we can be part of every New York-based romantic comedy. No, wait, I have to get cancer at the end.

Sobriety: Going strong and coming up on 3 weeks. Tremendously exciting.
